Carmen is a distinguished graduate from the University of East London, holding a BSc Honours in Physiotherapy. Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), she complements her academic achievements with specialised certifications including a Diploma in Sports Massage, a FIFA Diploma in Football Medicine, and a certificate in Athletic Strapping and Clinical Taping. In 2023, she achieved a Distinction in her Sports and Exercise Medicine MSc, further solidifying her expertise.

Her career began in the NHS, serving diverse communities across Luton, Dunstable, Buckinghamshire, and Barnet, before moving to the Somerset NHS Trust. Carmen's journey also includes significant roles at Princess Risborough RFC, Stevenage FC Academy, and she is currently at Wiveliscombe RFC.

Beyond her professional roles, Carmen's commitment to community service is profound; she has volunteered at major events such as the World Para-Athletics and IAAF World Championships in 2017 and the 2022 Commonwealth Games. Her dedication was also evident at the London Marathon, where she supported the medical team in 2017, 2018, and 2021.

With extensive experience treating patients ranging from elite athletes to those less active, Carmen excels in managing a broad spectrum of musculoskeletal conditions and sports injuries.
